We understand that children develop at different rates, and respect that every child is individual and unique. We believe in supporting parents in their role as primary educators and strive to develop meaningful partnership with parents. We are committed to giving all children a secure and happy environment, where they can develop and grow to realise their full potential. As a community service we adopt a community development approach and strive to make a positive contribution within the local community. As a registered Charity we operate on a not for profit basis and any operating surples is invested back into Krafty Kidz.

About Us

Krafty Kidz Community Childcare operates under Krafty Kidz Ballyconnell Den and is one of the longest-standing non-for-profit childcare services in the country. We were originally established in 1997 by local mothers who identified a need for a community pre-school in the village. They secured funding to renovate a We are a registered charity and are managed by a voluntary board of directors and management committee that employs a manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service. We have a staff team of over 30 highly qualified and experienced individuals.
